لقد شرعت الحكومة اليمنية في برنامج لدفع وقيادة
عملية إحياء للمدن التاريخية في البلاد وهو برنامج وطني عام لا يقتصر
على الثلاث المدن التي أعلنتها اليونسكو كتراث عالمي وهي مدن صنعاء
القديمة، شبام حضرموت وزبيد فقط بل يشمل كل المدن والمواقع التاريخية
في اليمن.
The Government of Yemen has started a programme
to boost and guide the revitalisation process of historic cities in
the country. It is a nation-wide programme, not limited to the three
UNESCO-declared World Heritage Cities, that is Old Sana'a, Shibam-Hawdramaut
and Zabid, but covering all historic cities and sites.
